A growing construction consultancy based in Kent is seeking a Project Manager to join their expanding team, delivering a diverse portfolio across commercial, infrastructure, and public sector projects. This Project Manager role offers an excellent opportunity for either an established Project Manager or a strong Assistant Project Manager ready to step up. The successful Project Manager will gain exposure to a wide range of schemes, working within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. This Project Manager position provides a hybrid working arrangement, combining home, office, and site-based responsibilities across Kent and the surrounding areas. The Project Manager will play a key role in supporting project delivery while developing client relationships and technical expertise. This Project Manager opportunity is ideal for someone looking to broaden their sector experience and progress within a consultancy setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting and leading projects from inception through to completion across commercial, infrastructure, and public sector schemes
  • Managing programmes, coordinating consultants, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with client objectives
  • Assisting with procurement, contract administration, and risk management
  • Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
  • Contributing to reporting and project planning activities

Requirements

  • Prior construction consultancy experience
  • Relevant degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • Working towards a professional qualification such as APM, RICS, or CIOB (ideal)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Experience across commercial, infrastructure, or public sector projects (advantageous)
