This Project Manager position offers the chance to work with a diverse client base, managing schemes from inception through to completion while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team. The successful Project Manager will play a key role in delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest professional standards. The incoming Project Manager will have the opportunity to lead projects, develop client relationships and work alongside experienced consultants in a professional environment. This Project Manager role is particularly suited to an individual with strong NEC contract knowledge who is looking to further develop their career within a respected consultancy. You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
Job Responsibility
Leading projects from feasibility through to completion
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Managing project programmes, risks and reporting requirements
Administering and managing projects under NEC contracts
Coordinating design teams, consultants and contractors
Monitoring project performance and ensuring key milestones are achieved
Facilitating meetings and producing clear project documentation
Supporting business development and maintaining strong client relationships
Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with industry best practice and statutory requirements
Requirements
Experience working as a Project Manager within a construction consultancy
Strong working knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts
Experience managing projects across the built environment sector
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational and programme management abilities
Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Nice to have
Working towards or holding a relevant professional qualification such as MAPM
MRICS or MCIOB
