A growing construction consultancy based in Birmingham is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join its expanding team. This Project Manager opportunity offers the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, providing exposure to a range of sectors and clients whilst taking ownership of schemes from inception through to completion. Job Responsibility
Managing projects from feasibility through to completion and handover
Coordinating consultants, contractors and wider project teams
Developing and maintaining project programmes
Monitoring project budgets and financial performance
Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
Leading client meetings and stakeholder engagement
Supporting procurement and tender activities
Monitoring project progress and reporting on key milestones
Ensuring projects are delivered in line with programme, budget and quality expectations
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements
Previous construction consultancy experience
Experience delivering projects across a variety of sectors
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
Good commercial awareness and programme management skills
Experience working through both pre and post-contract stages
Chartered status or progression towards MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent would be advantageous
A proactive and professional approach to project delivery
