Job Description:

This role leads the end-to-end delivery of commercial structural steel packages, from shop detailing readiness through fabrication coordination, site installation scheduling, and close-out handover. You will manage multiple live jobs, working across internal teams and Tier 1 builder requirements to protect programme dates and commercial outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain client satisfaction to secure repeat work and referrals
  • Deliver projects to programme and within approved budget
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate delivery and site risks
  • Maintain technical accuracy and ISO 9001 compliance
  • Strengthen internal coordination across concurrent jobs
  • Coordinate shop detail drawings, align fabrication with workshop capacity, and manage delivery and installation sequencing
  • Track costs, variations, purchase orders, supplier pricing, and rigger costings using structured processes and Excel-based reporting

Requirements:

  • Project management background in construction/engineering
  • Australian driver’s licence
  • End-to-end delivery of commercial packages ($300k-$9m)
  • Experience with Tier 1 commercial builders and their requirements
  • Ability to manage 7-8 concurrent live jobs from commencement
  • Client-facing communication and internal coordination capability
  • Commercial/financial acumen: cost tracking, margins, variations, POs
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings/shop details
  • Good understanding of ISO 9001 regulations
  • Willingness to undergo random drug and alcohol testing once employed
  • Willingness to obtain a police clearance if required for specific sites
