Are you a Project Manager with 10 years of Capital Market experience leading cross-functional project teams through the successful delivery of large-scale initiatives? Our Alberta-based Financial client is seeking a Project Manager for a 9 month contract. Client: Financial Services Duration: 9 months Location: Remote Pay Rate: between $79-95/hr INC

Job Responsibility

  • Drive the execution and governance of Business Architecture & Operating Model Refinement
  • Manage the development of a resilient target-state technology and data architecture
  • Facilitate the design and implementation of clear interaction models, specifically focusing on Product Control / Valuation and the handoffs between Finance and Risk
  • Lead the project planning around critical data deliverables, including the definition of authoritative sources / master data, the adaptation of a Capital Markets canonical data model, and target Book of Record design
  • Coordinate the design of a modern service and support operating model tailored to the high-stakes requirements of a unified Capital Markets landscape
  • Develop a detailed, phased transition roadmap to shift the initiative from strategy to execution
  • Serve as the central point of contact to align cross-functional internal teams with the selected vendor to ensure seamless discovery and validation
  • Responsible for the active maintenance of all project documentation (RAID logs, Project Charters, and plans) while providing the PLT and Program steering committee with clear, consistent, and transparent updates on project status

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of senior-level project or program management experience, specifically leading large-scale, transformative programs within Capital Markets or Tier-1 Banking
  • Deep understanding of front-to-back Capital Markets workflows, including trade execution, clearing/settlement, collateral management, market/credit risk, and treasury operations
  • Strong familiarity with complex technology and data transformations
  • Proven track record of taking high-level consulting strategy or target-state blueprints and translating them into pragmatic, executable Statements of Work (SOWs) and sequenced delivery roadmaps
  • Exceptional executive presence, with the ability to effectively communicate portfolio health, manage competing priorities across business units, and drive decision-making speed
