The Broadband Project Manager handles a diverse range of small to mid-size projects that support enterprise systems, network, and telecommunication capabilities, with a focus on delivering Internet and Broadband product initiatives. The role supports project execution using standard project management practices, including defined timelines, coordination across teams, and delivery tracking. Success is measured by maintaining schedules, managing risks, and delivering quality outcomes that meet business and customer needs. This role is embedded with a product delivery team and works day-to-day with Product, Engineering, Network, and Operations to support execution, rather than operating as a centralized PMO role.
Job Responsibility:
Drive project status reporting and meetings to keep teams aligned on progress, risks, and next steps impacting product delivery
Identify potential project risks proactively and work with delivery teams to implement mitigation plans that help teams stay on track and meet delivery commitments
Develop and maintain project schedules by defining activities, sequencing work, and coordinating resources to align work across teams and support on-time delivery
Define and manage project scope in partnership with delivery teams to support delivery alignment and manage change impacts while keeping focus on agreed outcomes
Support budgeting activities including estimates, forecasts, and variance awareness, as needed to support delivery planning and execution
Align deliverables with requirements and support quality checkpoints to ensure readiness for launch, handoff, or operational support
Perform other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed, including support for intake coordination and delivery readiness activities
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
Advanced degree preferred
Acceptable areas of study include Business Administration, Project Management or related field
Exceptional project management skills, with an ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
