Job Description

Are you the enthusiastic, self-driven and result-oriented professional who wants to move our customer’s performance forward? We are looking for “Project Manager” to be based in Pune, India. This position reports to “Director- Projects, AP and India, Automation, India”. In this position you will have an opportunity to network and collaborate with our sales team, product line, operations team, support functions such as finance, administration and external network with end user (customer), consultants and EPC contractors. In this position, you are required to lead and manage automation delivery projects according to the goals and operating principles of Valmet Automation and also responsible for the management of delivery projects KPIs in AP, India and Middle East.

Job Responsibility

  • Review of sales contract
  • Financial responsibility (budgeting, monthly estimation, add-on sales, customer invoicing, project purchasing, transfer of ownership, final recognition)
  • Project planning and follow-up
  • Risk and opportunity management
  • Resource estimation and planning
  • Leading of project team (temp project organization, defining clear responsibilities in project organization, maintain good working atmosphere)
  • Reporting to all stake holders of the project
  • Transferring and taking over projects
  • Sales support to sales managers for Automation projects sales

Requirements

  • Engineering Graduate (BE/BTech) in electrical/ electronic/ instrumentation
  • minimum 10 years Project management experience/ training on Automation /control system projects in Power, Pulp and Paper, Process industries
  • Working knowledge on Project management tools like MS Project
  • Team Management /leadership
  • Required Skills: Project Management, Resource management
  • Commercial: invoicing, import export taxation, logistic and delivery terms know how, Letter of credits, BG
  • Technical skills: MS office-Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Process know how of Pulp and Paper, Power and Process industries, QMS products in Pulp and Paper, Energy Automation products
  • Project management tools like MS Projects, RADAR

Experience of working with Middle East and Asia Pacific clients will have added advantage
