Job Description

As a Project Manager / Application Consultant, you will join the Medius Professional Services team and lead projects implementing our spend management suite for customers. From day one, you will take on significant responsibility, managing complex and engaging projects across both local and international markets. You will guide customers through the full onboarding lifecycle, including solution design, deployment, UAT, go-live, and hypercare. This is a hybrid role combining project management and functional consulting responsibilities. Depending on project scope and complexity, you may focus on one area or balance both, with opportunities over time to specialize based on your strengths and interests.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, resourcing, milestone tracking, and budget management
  • Facilitate workshops and deliver training sessions (on-site or remote)
  • Configure Medius solutions based on customer requirements and best practices
  • Support customers throughout testing phases, go-live, and hypercare
  • Analyze customers' existing spend management processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Drive process optimization initiatives in collaboration with customers
  • Produce and maintain solution documentation, including specifications and change requests
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to project stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT system implementations, ideally in cloud-based/SaaS environments as a Functional Consultant
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Business-oriented and results-driven approach
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks while maintaining quality and control
  • Solid understanding of IT systems and implementation methodologies
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Experience in Spend Management solutions
  • Previous experience in a consulting role
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX / Finance & Operations, Dynamics NAV / Business Central, SAP, or Infor M3
