Job Description:

Project Managers at Chemistry keep the work moving and the teams aligned. As our next Project Manager – Agile Delivery, you’ll lead the planning and execution of digital and technology-driven projects using Agile methodologies. You’ll partner closely with product owners, developers, designers, strategists, and account teams to ensure projects are organized, collaborative, and delivered with confidence. You understand how digital products get built and are comfortable working alongside technical teams to manage sprint cycles, requirements, and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead Agile delivery for digital projects including website builds, platform integrations, and marketing technology implementations.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with product owners and stakeholders to maintain prioritized product backlogs.
  • Ensure work is clearly scoped, estimated, and planned within sprint cycles.
  • Track sprint progress and delivery performance to ensure teams meet sprint goals and project milestones.
  • Collaborate with account teams, clients, and internal partners to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, sprint roadmaps, and release schedules.
  • Coordinate project tasks across cross-functional teams including development, UX, creative, analytics, and QA.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with developers to understand technical requirements, dependencies, and risks.
  • Review user stories, technical tickets, and sprint progress to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Support the resolution of blockers and dependencies that impact delivery.
  • Serve as a primary internal point of coordination for project timelines, deliverables, and status updates.
  • Provide regular updates on sprint outcomes, risks, and upcoming milestones.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear updates for account teams and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaboration across strategy, creative, and development teams.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges early.
  • Proactively address blockers to maintain project momentum.
  • Monitor delivery metrics and sprint velocity to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Escalate issues when needed and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Help refine Agile delivery workflows and project management processes.
  • Support best practices for backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.
  • Contribute to internal playbooks, documentation, and operational improvements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement across delivery teams.

Requirements:

  • The knowledge and experience typically developed through a combination of education/formal training and experience in project management, Agile delivery, or digital product coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience working with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and digital product delivery.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with developers and understand technical concepts such as APIs, CMS platforms, integrations, and web technologies.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
