Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support backend, platform‑focused initiatives within a modern engineering environment. This role is ideal for a project manager with a strong technical foundation who enjoys driving execution, influencing stakeholders, and managing multiple workstreams in a highly collaborative setting. This is a 1‑year contract opportunity with the potential to convert to permanent, offering meaningful project ownership and visibility across engineering teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and execute a key platform initiative focused on defining and delivering domain‑level blueprints
  • Manage multiple small‑to‑medium technical projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery
  • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders across infrastructure and engineering teams
  • Drive project tracking, planning, and execution using Jira and Confluence
  • Support governance and enablement efforts related to APIs and shared platform services
  • Assist with future planning activities, including annual roadmap coordination
  • Quickly onboard and operate independently in a fast‑moving, metric‑driven environment

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of professional project management experience
  • Technical background in software development, infrastructure platforms, or backend systems
  • Strong working knowledge of APIs and message‑driven architecture
  • Experience managing non‑user‑facing, platform or infrastructure initiatives
  • Proven ability to drive execution and deliver projects on time
  • Agile experience required
  • Scrum certification is a plus
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal oversight
