Job Description:

The work shall be managed by a Project Manager (PM), who possess a recognized licensed professional designation who has approximately 20 years of relevant technical experience and a minimum of 7 years of related track experience. In addition, the PM shall have extensive experience in managing multi-discipline transit infrastructure projects of a similar type and technical knowledge.

Job Responsibility:

Be the key point of contact with TTC Project Team on all technical and administrative matters of the Work
Be the key team lead member in the submission of all reporting requirements, whether technical or administrative in nature, during the Work
Ensure that a thorough and consistent methodology/approach is used for deliverables, quality of submission(s), and site visits for conformance with scope of Work
Co-ordinate and ensure that all deliverables are reviewed prior to submission to ensure completeness and conformance to submission requirements
Identify and ensure that all designs conform to current codes, standards and regulations, and are prepared in accordance with professional practice guidelines and TTC / City design standards
Coordinate all activities of the Consultant Team and its Sub-Consultants
Represent the Consultant Team at all meetings, presentations and address all issues raised by the TTC
Oversee billing related issues
Oversee scheduling requirements
Oversee and coordinate all field activities performed under third party contracts
Oversee contract documentation
Review and sign final reports
Be registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario
Assist the TTC with permit applications/approvals, as required
Attend meetings with third parties as required by the TTC in relation to the Work
Coordinate lessons learned documentation process, collect information and present at the completion of the project

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Structural, Civil)
Professional Engineering certification P.Eng is required
20 years of Project Management experience with 7 years of experience of track experience

Nice to have:

Proof of professional designation is required
7 years of experience in Track experience
