Our client is a leading global financial services firm and one of the largest banking institutions in the world. Their Luxembourg office serves as a strategic hub for international asset management and investment banking operations. This project is part of a global initiative driven by the Asia-Pacific (APAC) business in Hong Kong. The goal is to simplify the bank’s operating model by migrating clients from APAC to Luxembourg, with a target to complete all transitions by the end of 2026.
Job Responsibility:
Be the central point of coordination in Luxembourg, ensuring that local teams stay aligned with the global project timeline
Global Coordination: Represent the Luxembourg office and act as the primary contact for the central project management team based in Hong Kong
Local Leadership: Support and coordinate several project workstreams led by local experts in various functions (such as Operations, Compliance, and AML/KYC)
Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain a detailed project plan, track progress, and provide clear status updates to both local and global management
Meeting Management: Organize and lead meetings to drive delivery, ensure progress, and follow up on actions
Execution & Problem Solving: Execute specific project tasks as directed by workstream leads and handle ad-hoc issues or administrative documentation as they arise
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing large-scale projects
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and project scheduling tools (Gantt charts, etc.)
Strong understanding of project management standards is an advantage (Agile, Prince2, or PMP frameworks are a significant plus)
You are a 'self-starter' with a positive, 'can-do' attitude
Excellent professional judgment, especially knowing when to escalate risks to management
Experience in Asset Management or Financial Services is a strong plus, though not mandatory if your methodology is solid
Nice to have:
Experience in Asset Management or Financial Services
Strong understanding of project management standards (Agile, Prince2, or PMP frameworks)
