Requirements

Minimum high school diploma/GED
10 years' experience in the construction industry required
Four-year degree in engineering or construction management preferred
7-10 years experience in the construction industry preferred
Shows leadership, concise execution of plans, vision of project future, and effective communication of vision to subordinates

Job Responsibility

Manages entire construction projects, including planning, directing, coordinating, or budgeting activities
Responsible for meeting job requirements and controlling costs
Assesses the scope of work and resources required
Verifies project estimate for completeness
Supervises total construction efforts to ensure the project is constructed by design, budget, and schedule
Plans, coordinates, and supervises onsite functions
Provides technical assistance
Oversees and reviews extra work estimating and issuance of change orders
Assumes responsibility for safety, quality, and productivity
Administers financial tracking systems
