The Project Manager oversees assigned projects from initiation through completion, ensuring high-quality execution, strong client satisfaction, and strict adherence to budgetary and performance targets. This role serves as the central point of coordination among internal teams, vendors, and clients.
Job Responsibility:
Establish project frameworks, including cost projections, value schedules, kickoff meetings, and closeout procedures
Prepare, manage, and distribute technical documentation, including equipment and ductwork submissions
Create and implement project execution plans in collaboration with fabrication teams and BIM resources when applicable
Review supplier and manufacturer documentation to confirm compliance with specifications prior to client submission
Coordinate purchasing activities, track material production, and manage logistics to support timely site delivery
Monitor construction progress, participate in recurring project meetings, update schedules, and manage scope modifications
Evaluate project completion status to support accurate monthly invoicing and financial reporting
Oversee financial performance, labor allocation, material usage, permitting, and contractual obligations
Enforce safety standards and complete required risk assessments in accordance with project and regulatory guidelines
Serve as the primary liaison for clients, maintaining strong relationships while proactively addressing concerns
Foster collaboration among contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to support project success
Requirements:
Minimum of ten years of relevant field experience, including at least five years in a leadership role, or a technical bachelor’s degree combined with project management experience
Completion of a recognized trade apprenticeship, technical certification, or journeyman-level training in sheet metal or related disciplines preferred
Proven experience coordinating large rooftop mechanical installations, including air handling units and rooftop systems, in partnership with rigging and structural teams
Background in large-scale hospitality or multi-unit residential construction strongly desired
Proficiency in industry-standard project management practices and tools
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and contractual documents
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities
Demonstrated ability to analyze financial performance and implement corrective measures when needed
Track record of effectively leading teams in collaborative environments
Capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting client-driven timelines

Experience with Timberline, CAD, and/or BIM platforms is a plus
