Job Description

SpaceBridge Inc. is seeking a dynamic candidate to fill the role of Project Manager – Commercial. If you have a love for engineering and technology as well as managing and ensuring the timely delivery of projects while working in a fast-paced environment – read on! The Project Manager will ensure successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of a project. This will be accomplished by monitoring and coordinating the activities of a cross-functional team to deliver projects according to plan.

Job Responsibility

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in accordance to management and stakeholders.
  • Perform and conduct the Kick-off presentation once a proposal has been materialized.
  • Ongoing communication, coordination and follow-up with engineering on project progress
  • tracking and monitoring project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans and budgets.
  • Prepare detailed scheduling, targets, and resource planning for R & D and Engineering Projects.
  • Track project deliverables and milestones using project management tools and escalating critical issues to minimize project risk factors.
  • Weekly reporting of project progress, issues, and delays
  • Assess the risks and propose mitigation plans.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Define project performance criteria.
  • Monitor cost/schedule performance throughout the project.
  • Develop any business relationships required to the success of the project.
  • Communication and follow-up with sub-contractors and vendors to establish cordial/effective working relationships.
  • Meet project milestones from a cost and schedule perspective.
  • Chair review meetings with customers and subcontractors.
  • Manage scope and recommend adjustments to plan. Negotiate change of scope with customers.
  • Responsible for the project plan (Schedule and cost), risk analysis and mitigation plan, communication plan, and closure activities of the projects assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (preferably in Engineering)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical Product and/or Project management
  • Good and thorough knowledge of the different Project Management frameworks
  • Good and thorough comprehension of satellite systems, mainly oriented to VSAT systems design, its advantages, and solutions available in the market.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of financial analysis and KPIs applied in project control.
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Possesses critical thinking, conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a high-pressure environment is crucial
  • Highly proficient with MS Project and MS Office
