KEDbluestone is a forward-thinking MEP engineering firm renowned for tackling complex, high-impact projects across building infrastructure, and integrated engineering disciplines. We believe great engineering is about more than technical precision — it’s about people, process, and purpose. We’re growing our project leadership team and looking for a Project Manager who can drive results, build strong client relationships, and lead multidisciplinary teams from first concept to final delivery. If you’re energized by complexity, thrive in collaborative environments, and take genuine pride in delivering exceptional work, this role was built for you. Your Opportunity This is a high-visibility leadership role at the intersection of client strategy, technical delivery, and team execution. You won’t be designing systems — you’ll be the force that keeps everything aligned, on schedule, and exceeding client expectations. You’ll own the full project lifecycle across a portfolio of AEC engineering projects, serving as the central point of coordination between internal engineers, external consultants, and clients at every level. Candidates with backgrounds within the construction industry — particularly in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or related disciplines — will have a meaningful advantage in understanding the technical environments they’re managing.
Job Responsibility:
Own the full project lifecycle — from kick-off through design in construction to closeout — across building engineering projects including MEP infrastructure and building systems
Drive project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management across multiple concurrent projects
Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies before they impact delivery
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, client expectations, and contractual requirements
Serve as the primary client point of contact — building trust, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the engagement
Lead client-facing meetings including regular design team meetings, progress updates, and owner briefings
Support contract management, scope alignment, and change order processes with precision and professionalism
Coordinate cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and external consultant disciplines
Influence and align stakeholders at all levels without relying on direct authority
Facilitate strong communication across technical and non-technical team members
Partner with leadership on process improvements and project delivery optimization initiatives
Contribute to internal best practices, lessons learned, and delivery frameworks
Requirements:
5+ years of project management experience within architecture, engineering, construction, or a related field
Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities
Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence without direct authority
Experience working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and client expectations effectively
Nice to have:
Engineering or trade backgrounds (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or related discipline)
Direct experience on MEP or building systems projects
Familiarity with industry tools including Revit, Bluebeam, and online project management tools such as Procore
PMP certification or other project management certification relevant in the AEC industry or actively in pursuit
What we offer:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Comprehensive benefits package
Flexible remote work environment
Opportunities to take on additional responsibility over time based on performance and interest
Supportive, collaborative culture focused on quality work and professional respect
