Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) Senior Manager to drive Earned Value Management (EVM) Compliance within the BDS Program Management IP&S Home Office in Multiple Locations! This position is on-site and can be located in Berkeley, MO, El Segundo, CA, Everett or Tukwila, WA, Huntsville, AL, Mesa, AZ, Oklahoma City, OK, or Ridley Park, PA. The IP&S Senior Manager will lead the effort of all IP&S EVM Compliance activities of the programs within Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS). This position will require travel to provide on-site support of IP&S EVM Compliance activities.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead BDS Program Management, Integrated Planning & Scheduling Home Office Earned Value Management Compliance Team
  • Coordination of PM IP&S EVM compliance issues and actions with Financial Analysis -EVM Compliance team
  • Key contributor to the maintenance of the Boeing Integrated Performance Management Plan (IPMM) with responsibilities that include shaping, defining, and deploying and assessing program scheduling processes across BDS
  • Support and guide BDS programs in development of EVM Corrective Action Request and associated Corrective Action Plans
  • Oversee maintenance and reporting of EVM compliance testing associated with internal/external surveillance, and CAR/CAP closure for all BDS programs with Earned Value Reporting requirements
  • Travel to program sites to prepare and support programs for internal & external Earned Value System Surveillance
  • Support BDS leadership team, program managers, functional managers, and program teams with guidance & support related to EVM compliant execution strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience with Program Scheduling
  • 5+ years of experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis
  • 5+ years of experience in Open Plan Professional (OPP) and/or Microsoft Project (MSProject) schedule applications
  • 3+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

Nice to have

3+ years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience)
