Job Description:

Due to future projects and work load, we are looking for a PMO Manager to work alongside Project Managers, ensuring standards and operating practices are maintained across the entire project lifecycle. Reporting to the Head of PMO, you will join a small, friendly, team that looks after Earth Observation, Science and Exploration in the UK and be functionally embedded within the assigned project.

Job Responsibility:

  • Is responsible for all planning, monitoring and administrative tasks which are necessary for a proper project management and execution
  • Supports the PM and the project's management team through the application of project management processes, methods and tools
  • Tracks programme progress and provide visualisation and early warning of potential issues to allow for early mitigation, anticipation and data-driven decisions
  • Acts as the Risks & Opportunities Manager of the project

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance OR subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check)
  • Experience in managing risks and opportunities
  • Experience in managing or working with a project schedules
  • Understanding of Prince 2 / PMP
