We are seeking an experienced Study Lead / Program Manager to lead a strategic Confirmations Automation Transformation initiative within a global Capital Markets environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the end-to-end study, defining the target operating model and target architecture, conducting gap analysis, producing business requirements, and leading migration, testing, and implementation planning activities. The role requires strong front-to-back understanding of Capital Markets operations and the ability to manage senior stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Legal, and external vendors. The individual will also lead program governance, steering committees, and regulatory approval processes to ensure successful delivery of the transformation roadmap.
Job Responsibility
Act as the Study Lead for the Confirmations Automation Transformation Program
Drive front-to-back current state assessment across Trade Capture, Confirmations, Settlements, Accounting, Risk, P&L, Reconciliations, Regulatory Reporting, and Back Office Operations
Define target operating model, target architecture, and future-state business processes
Conduct detailed gap analysis between current and target states
Lead workshops with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and define transformation objectives
Produce Business Requirements Documents (BRD), functional specifications, process maps, and solution recommendations
Evaluate automation opportunities and recommend strategic solutions to improve operational efficiency, control, and scalability
Manage end-to-end program delivery from study phase through implementation and rollout
Establish and maintain program plans, milestones, dependencies, budgets, risks, and issues
Coordinate multiple workstreams across Business, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and Vendors
Ensure delivery milestones are achieved within agreed timelines and budget
Drive decision-making and issue resolution across senior stakeholders
Lead initiatives focused on trade confirmations automation and post-trade process optimization
Assess and implement confirmation matching solutions and automation platforms
Drive digitization initiatives including electronic confirmations, confirmation matching, workflow automation, and digital signature solutions
Manage implementation of digital signature capabilities across restricted jurisdictions including China, India, and other regulatory-sensitive markets
Ensure operational and regulatory requirements are appropriately addressed throughout the solution design
Act as Migration Study Lead and Testing Lead for the program
Define migration strategy, migration approach, data validation framework, and execution plan
Lead testing strategy covering SIT, UAT, regression testing, operational readiness testing, and dress rehearsals
Coordinate business users, technology teams, and vendors during testing cycles
Ensure successful transition from legacy processes and platforms to target solutions
Establish and manage program governance framework
Lead regular project governance meetings, operational working groups, and Steering Committee forums
Provide regular status updates, risk reporting, and executive-level communications
Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance, Compliance, and Legal functions
Facilitate decision-making and obtain approvals required to progress the program
Coordinate approvals required from Compliance, Legal, Risk, Outsourcing Governance, and Control functions
Ensure adherence to internal governance standards and regulatory requirements
Manage Technology Project Lifecycle (PLC) processes, including architecture reviews, validation committees, and governance approvals
Support regulatory engagement activities when required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
10+ years of experience delivering large-scale transformation programs within Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Financial Markets environments
Proven experience leading business studies, operating model transformations, or strategic change initiatives
Strong understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle processes
