The Project Logistics Strategy Manager plays a critical role in driving efficiency, cost optimization, and resilience in the supply chain in ITO and OTR. Your responsibilities extend beyond daily operations to long-term strategy, innovation, and risk management. A strategic logistics leader is not just about moving goods from point A to B; they are a key driver of business profitability, customer satisfaction, and supply chain resilience.
Job Responsibility
Provide leadership and oversight to ITO Logistics Specialists responsible for developing Level 1 logistics concepts, budgetary freight estimates, transportation schedules, and tender logistics assumptions
Review, challenge, and approve logistics plans, freight estimates, schedules, and risk assessments to ensure solutions are commercially competitive, operationally feasible, and executable
Support Commercial teams by ensuring logistics solutions align with customer requirements, project schedules, and business objectives
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Project Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain roles
Experience supporting large-scale industrial, infrastructure, energy, or capital project environments
Experience managing domestic and international multimodal transportation operations
Nice to have
Experience supporting large-scale energy, utility, data center, or infrastructure program environments involving high transportation spend and complex project execution requirements
Strong knowledge of heavy haul, super loads, over-dimensional, breakbulk, and multimodal transportation operations
Knowledge of customs procedures, international trade compliance, and Dangerous Goods transportation requirements
Experience developing logistics strategies, carrier networks, and transportation sourcing solutions
Ability to develop strategy and drive execution within a matrixed organization
Demonstrated ability to lead change, establish operating rhythms, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Strong customer focus with experience supporting internal and external stakeholders
Strong negotiation, analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Effective oral and written communication skills across all organizational levels
Proven project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results on time and within budget
Strong leadership skills with ability to support and develop logistics personnel
Ability to establish, manage, and maintain operational and project budgets
Flexible ability to travel based on business and project requirements
