Job Description:

The Project Leader – Data Analytics will oversee the endtoend management of data-driven projects, ensuring timely delivery, optimal quality, and alignment with business goals. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. You will act as a bridge between clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver impactful analytics solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution of milestones
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring adherence to budget and timelines
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of data engineers, analysts, and developers
  • Assign responsibilities, set expectations, and foster a culture of collaboration
  • Conduct regular team meetings to track progress and resolve roadblocks
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed
  • Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders through reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with business users to identify key performance metrics and analytics opportunities
  • Oversee the design and implementation of data analytics solutions, leveraging tools like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Power BI, and others
  • Ensure the integrity, security, and scalability of data solutions
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure best practices in ETL, data modeling, and dashboard design
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and AI
  • Identify areas of improvement in project delivery processes and implement changes for efficiency
  • Contribute to the development of TC Data’s methodologies and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, or related projects, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and cloud platforms like Azure (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Factory)
  • Proven track record of managing data analytics projects from concept to completion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies

Nice to have:

  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Power BI, or PMP
  • Experience in industries like manufacturing, finance, consumer goods, or retail
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics and AI tools such as Python, R, or Machine Learning frameworks
