Job Responsibility

  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Vaccine Business Leaders across U.S. Customer Service, Trade, VaxServe, Reverse Logistics, and Operations (Mainline and Influenza) to proactively identify and resolve system and process challenges that impact product delivery to customers
  • Develop an internal network that can provide key commercial support and maintain ComOps relations with global solution and incident management teams
  • Identify system & process efficiencies for business, lead new requirements and development with global compliance, enablement & process owner teams
  • Lead Key User testing for business readiness, train Key Users & Leads on new functionality
  • Work with business leaders and Key Users to prioritize and execute ComOps incident processes, system change requests, and system enhancements
  • Drive global development and solution teams to implement timely corrective systems and process actions within agreed-upon SLAs to ensure uninterrupted commercial business
  • Ensure strict adherence and provide end-to-end oversight of SAP S/4 HANA commercial functions, achieving 100% compliance with regulatory and internal standards
  • As a key contributor between the business and solution teams, identify cutting-edge system and process enhancements that streamline operations, elevate business performance, drive revenue, and maximize business efficiencies
  • Promote high-impact system strategies that improve upon customer and user experience, increase system automation while decreasing external support, and improve efficiency and task completion times for department processes
  • Develop deep expertise in the commercial vaccines business, processes, and systems to strengthen strategic decision-making and operational excellence
  • Scan external environments, biologics, and S/4 HANA users for innovations and process excellence
  • Identify and integrate AI capabilities into solution delivery
  • Co-develop and manage a ComOps User Access Management process
  • Maintain ComOps iShift User compliance, initiate global and local SAP training, provide system access, and manage user changes
  • Provide status updates through biweekly/monthly touchpoints with local business department leaders and Key Users across Customer Service, Trade, VaxServe, Reverse Logistics, Distribution, Customer Master Data, and Operations for system issues, fixes, and long-term business solutions
  • Initiate and lead war room meetings for S/4 vaccine crisis management
  • Work with the AMS crisis team to identify and engage with key business users and department leaders to quickly mitigate business risk and/or disruption of the U.S. vaccines business
  • Lead daily/weekly scrum calls with business partners, AMS, and solution members to drive on-time solution delivery
  • Proactively engage with global solution/AMS leadership when project timelines are in jeopardy of being missed and work through an agreed-upon contingency plan that supports commercial business needs
  • Collaborate with the business members on contingencies
  • Manage and own the timely engagement of a global, multi-functional, Flu Enablement Team to swiftly resolve system barriers impacting the distribution of the U.S. influenza vaccine
  • Partner with and conduct routine communication with Digital Delivery and Ecom teams for S/4-connected systems
  • Communicate and proactively engage with connected system teams during a S/4 crisis
  • Alert commercial business partners of system outages and prepare business for scheduled downtimes and system upgrades
  • Lead post system restore testing by identifying critical tests, key team members, and overseeing completion for the testing team
  • Own post-test communications to business partners and commercial leaders

Requirements

  • BS/BA required, preferably in Life Sciences, Technology, or Management
  • 5+ years of relevant commercial vaccine or pharmaceutical experience
  • 10+ years SAP commercial experience, including S/4 HANA experience
  • Formal or informal project management experience with the ability to lead and influence without authority
  • Emotional intelligence and aptitude to work with multi-cultural teams in a highly matrixed environment
  • Prior experience overseeing post-test communications to business partners and commercial leaders
  • Aptitude and interest in learning and optimizing technical/ITS systems
  • Up to 20% domestic travel may be required
