The Project Lead will spearhead the Legends Global Sales on-site engagement at one of the nation’s most prestigious Power Five universities, playing a central role in shaping the future of a flagship athletics program. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for building and executing dynamic sales, marketing, and communications strategies that drive significant revenue for a transformational capital project featuring premium seating, suites, and major capital gifts.
Job Responsibility:
Drive cross-department collaboration to deliver a seamless, premium seating, suites, ticket sales, and fundraising strategy
Lead revenue-focused marketing, content, and lead-generation initiatives that grow premium seating and ticket sales
Partner with project management to track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance
Execute disciplined 30-60-90 day sales and communication plans across multiple channels
Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing sales talent on strategy, messaging, presentations, and closing
Build and execute strategy to maximize the Experience Center as a sales and fan education tool
Partner with department leadership to set and achieve annual revenue and campaign goals
Deliver clear weekly and quarterly reporting highlighting results, insights, and opportunities
Utilize CRM to manage pipelines, campaigns, activity, and forecasting
Lead multiple business units with accountability to meet and exceed performance goals
Represent the department through events, promotions, and client entertainment, including nights, weekends, and game days
Requirements:
Leadership experience in premium seating, ticket sales, and/or development within athletics or professional sports (critical)
Proven success closing five- and six-figure premium seating or ticketing deals (critical)
8–10 years of progressive ticket sales and management experience
Bachelor’s degree required, Masters Preferred
Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and ticketing systems
Strong executive communication skills across internal and external stakeholders
Strategic, detail-oriented leader with strong execution discipline
Data-driven and analytically fluent
High-energy, self-motivated leader with exceptional organization and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
