One of our important clients is currently looking for a Project Lead Engineer, High Voltage Cable Projects for a 12-month contract based in Brussels. Day rate is negotiable.📍 Brussels, Belgium | Hybrid (2 days onsite)⚡ Energy & Infrastructure SectorDescription belowWe are looking for a Project Lead Engineer to support major high-voltage infrastructure projects within the Belgian energy sector.This role involves working on electrical infrastructure projects across 36kV to 380kV cable systems, supporting projects from initial design through to execution and final delivery.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and coordinate high-voltage cable infrastructure projects
  • Support technical studies, engineering design, budgeting, and planning
  • Prepare tender documentation and support procurement activities
  • Coordinate site execution with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress, reporting, and delivery milestones

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Interest in energy infrastructure and high-voltage projects
  • Experience in project management and/or site supervision is advantageous
  • Fluent Dutch is essential
  • French is a strong plus
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused mindset
