Job Description:

Apech Labs is a small business that supports the aerospace, military and energy industries through rapid prototyping and product development. Our core competencies include complex electromechanical systems, control systems, mechanisms, and power systems. We are passionate about bringing new technologies to the world and cannot get enough of the development process.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the project and interface with customers and suppliers
Responsible for meeting program technical schedule and cost objectives
Manage the bill of material and procurement of piece parts
Lead an interdisciplinary team to successfully develop new products
Plan for all aspects of the program including design, tooling, assembly and test
Participate in resource planning and project performance evaluation
Participate in operations planning and maintenance
Assemble and test both deliverable hardware and test equipment
Machine and rework parts
Operate as a key element in a team of creative, independent individuals
Document work and create reports as needed
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Excellent verbal, written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
United States Citizenship, or the legal ability to work in the U.S.

Nice to have:

5 years' experience (or 3 years with an MS degree)
Program management training
