Broadbent & Associates, Inc. is seeking curriculum vitae from qualified candidates for an Project-II Archaeologist in Henderson, NV. This is a full-time, salaried position (NOT Seasonal). Candidates may have a specialty in historical, industrial, or prehistoric archaeology. The successful candidate will be expected to manage cultural resources fieldwork projects in Nevada, California, Utah, Colorado, and Arizona, communicate effectively with the field crew, record and evaluate the full range of cultural resources typically found in the Mojave Desert, Great Basin, Colorado Plateau, and surrounding regions, participate on survey, excavation, and monitoring projects, safely drive field vehicles, and read topographic maps for navigation in the field. While the successful candidate will work from Broadbent's Henderson office, they will actively collaborate with the larger cultural resources team. The candidate must demonstrate a mix of office and field skills.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
B.A. or B.S. in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a closely related field (Masters Preferred)
Qualify as a Crew Chief or Principal Investigator Statewide in Arizona and Nevada and/or neighboring states for federally issued Archaeological Resources Protection Act (ARPA) permits, Cultural Resources Use Permits (CRUP) and State permits
Training and experience implementing Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act
Five years of experience working in a consulting company, state agency, or federal agency
Ability to perform both fieldwork and office activities independently and with a team
Experience with data entry, producing site forms, and professional communication such as emails and letters
Experience writing professional reports for Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act
