Job Description

I’ve partnered with a leading, specialist piling and ground engineering Contractor looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to initially cover a large scheme in Chester, before moving onto regional projects. You will be a strong character, providing daily support and driving the safety agenda in conjunction with the in-house Safety team and liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting into the Regional Head of HSE, you will be:

Job Responsibility

  • Working with Site and Project Management to ensure compliance and improve understanding
  • Coaching site staff and engaging Safety in
  • Helping to develop and manage site infrastructure including temporary works
  • Identifying areas for improvement whilst ensuring the smooth running of the site
  • Assisting with incident investigations where required
  • Working with the client to ensure high standards during project delivery

Requirements

  • NEBOSH-qualified (ESSENTIAL)
  • A member of IOSH (ESSENTIAL)
  • Experienced in multi-faceted, large-scale construction sites (ESSENTIAL)

Nice to have

Experienced in piling, ground engineering, civils or geotechnical (Preferable)
