We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our Full-Time Engagement Practice program. In this role, you will be a full-time employee of Robert Half, deployed on client projects to manage daily financial transactions and support core accounting operations. This position offers professional stability, exposure to diverse industries, and opportunities for continuous learning. Projects require onsite availability in the Greater Chattanooga and North Georgia areas.
Job Responsibility:
Record, classify, and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
Maintain and update general ledger and subsidiary accounts
Process payments, track invoices, and manage expense reports
Manage intercompany transactions for multi-entity organizations
Prepare regular financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules for client review
Perform bank reconciliations and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and client/company policies
Collaborate with client teams and accounting professionals to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
Requirements:
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience preferred
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage confidential information
Effective communication skills and ability to adapt quickly to new environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
