Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Supervisor to join our Global Financial Services (GFS) organization. This role plays a critical part in day-to-day leadership, guidance, and operational oversight to ensure billing accuracy, process compliance, and service excellence. You will ensure process excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement in a dynamic and evolving environment. Based out of our Manchester office and operating on a hybrid basis, the position reports directly to the Project Finance Team Lead.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with local finance teams to transition processes through documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Maintain and update project systems, ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Lead complex billing and reconciliation activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Identify and resolve systemic issues and inefficiencies in project setup or invoicing
  • Identify and implement process improvements, efficiencies, simplification opportunities and automation initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support the project finance process, resolve issues, respond to internal and external queries and build strong relationships
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, finance policies, statutory requirements, and internal controls including SOX compliance
  • Actively shape a high-performance, collaborative and inclusive culture
  • Oversee 1-4 direct reports in required tasks and professional development
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience within Finance Operations, Billing, Project Accounting, or Order-to-Cash functions within a shared service environment
  • Formal supervisory experience is a benefit
  • Track record of driving process improvement or automation initiatives that delivered measurable outcomes
  • Foster teamwork and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Build professional, responsive, and effective relationships across a variety of team members
  • Comfortable working with finance systems and automation tools
  • Oracle experience is preferred
  • Comfortable with building new things, ambiguity and challenging the status quo
  • Absorb information quickly and embrace continuous learning
  • Clear and confident communicator across teams and stakeholders
