Job Responsibility:
Act as the on-site representative, ensuring professional communication with all project stakeholders
Lead field engineering activities, managing schedules, budgets, and safety protocols
Enforce safety policies, document meetings and inspections, and coordinate with OSHA representatives
Review project documents and prepare summaries of specifications and requirements
Oversee project setup, including contracts, initial documentation, and pre-construction meetings
Coordinate logistics, procurement, and material deliveries to support successful project execution
Support project closeout procedures, including punch list development and final walkthroughs
Mentor project team members, participate in hiring and evaluations, and foster professional growth
Requirements:
10+ years of construction experience
Proven background in heavy civil construction, including pipelines, sewage, water treatment plants, or water storage projects
Previous experience in a field project engineer role for a construction contractor
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Valid driver’s license
First Aid and CPR certification
Competent Person training
Nice to have:

Proficiency with project scheduling, documentation, and contract management
