We are looking for a Project Executive to oversee architectural metal and glass projects for a sub-contractor in New York, New York. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage all aspects of project development, from initial planning and budgeting to final execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in construction management and a deep understanding of curtainwall systems and glazing methods.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of architectural metal and glass projects
Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are consistently met
Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and schedules to maintain alignment with client expectations
Provide guidance and direction to teams responsible for project management, engineering, detailing, procurement, and field installation
Identify and address risks, technical challenges, and design issues to minimize delays
Implement process improvements and quality assurance measures throughout the project lifecycle
Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate progress, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications
Prepare and deliver detailed progress reports, cost analyses, and change orders to stakeholders
Ensure all project activities comply with contract documents, building codes, and safety regulations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline is a plus
Minimum of two years of experience managing architectural metal and glass projects, particularly in urban or high-rise settings
Comprehensive knowledge of curtainwall systems, glazing techniques, ornamental metalwork, and associated fabrication and installation processes
Strong proficiency in interpreting construction contracts, technical drawings, and project specifications
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including negotiation and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills with a focus on building strong client relationships
Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
