The Events Executive plays a key role in planning and delivering small to medium‑scale events across our portfolio. Working closely with Event Leads and the wider Events team, this role ensures exceptional end‑to‑end event execution - from initial planning and supplier sourcing to onsite management and post‑event delivery. As a frontline representative of the Brighter brand, the Events Executive champions our standards, values, and service excellence across every project and stakeholder interaction.
Job Responsibility:
Lead full planning and delivery of assigned small to medium events, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met
Support Event Leads on larger, more complex projects, contributing to logistics, supplier management, and customer communication
Manage event websites, registration platforms, and delegate communications
Deliver exceptional onsite event support, including hosting and operational management as required
Build strong working relationships with clients, developing an understanding of their brand, objectives, stakeholders, and success criteria
Provide accurate, timely, and professional event information for client reviews and project updates
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling other Brighter or Clarity travel/event solutions
Source, negotiate, and manage venues and suppliers to ensure quality, value for money, and service alignment with Brighter standards
Maintain accurate supplier records, documentation, and compliance in line with internal processes
Adhere to Brighter’s “Ways of Working”, ensuring compliance with all operational processes, financial procedures, and service level agreements
Support ongoing improvement of event logistics, templates, processes, and delivery methodology
Support peers across the Events team during high‑volume periods
Contribute positively to team culture, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Ability to travel within the UK and Overseas as required
Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours as and when the event requires
Minimum 1 year experience in events, hospitality, agency environments, or similar operational roles
Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality customer experiences
Experience supporting the financial and performance growth of customer accounts
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
