Job Description:

Project Estimator role in construction industry responsible for interpreting architectural plans into accurate estimates, supporting new contract wins, and ensuring project success through budget accuracy and timely delivery.

Job Responsibility:

Interpreting architectural plans into accurate, actionable estimates
Supporting the company in winning new contracts
Ensuring projects run on time and budgets are accurate
Working with architectural drawings, Surveyors, contractors and project specifications
Supporting the Managing Director in growing their portfolio of expertise

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Estimator or Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
Relevant Estimator qualifications (Degree or similar in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering)
Experience bidding for and submitting tenders to both private and public sector (£200k-£500k minimum)
Experience in managing projects, working closely with Architects, Project Managers, Surveyors, engineers and clients
Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel
