Requirements

3+ years of estimating or cost engineering experience
Background in signage, fabrication, construction, manufacturing, or architectural systems preferred
Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and production methods
Advanced Excel and ERP/estimating software experience

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex cost data clearly

Job Responsibility

Prepare accurate project estimates using drawings, specifications, and scope documents
Complete quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, fabrication, and installation
Build Bills of Materials (BOMs) and labor forecasts using ERP/estimating systems
Analyze project risks, assumptions, and cost drivers to support profitable bids
Partner with manufacturing vendors and supply chain teams to obtain pricing and lead times
Support design revisions, change orders, and evolving project scopes
Participate in bid reviews and provide clear explanations of estimate assumptions
Track estimating accuracy and contribute to continuous process improvements
Maintain estimating databases, cost libraries, and reporting metrics
