Project Engineer

• Report daily construction activities
• Development of daily excavation drawings via AutoCAD
• Maintain daily material delivery tracking and various construction production logs
• Preparation of written work plans
• Quality control of ongoing construction work in accordance with the project construction drawings and specifications
• Coordination of site deliveries with field personnel
• As the individual progresses, responsibilities may also include procurement of materials, equipment rentals and professional services, project scheduling, and project accounting and cost tracking

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or applicable science degree from an accredited college/university
• 0 to 5 years previous construction or engineering/consulting industry experience supporting construction
• 2-3 years preferred
• Intermediate to proficient knowledge of AutoCAD software
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Well-organized individual with good communication skills
• I.T. certification preferred
• Prior experience in environmental dredging and GPS technology preferred
• Generalized heavy civil/earthwork construction experience preferred

• Knowledge or prior use of MS Project a plus
• General knowledge of OSHA safety regulations a plus
