This contractor delivers quality civil infrastructure projects across Regional NSW. They provide end-to-end civil construction solutions for public and private sector clients including state infrastructure, mining and residential development projects. They have grown into a trusted regional contractor known for reliable delivery, clear communication and strong safety outcomes. They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team and play a key role in the delivery of civil construction projects. In the role, you will take ownership of projects from early stages through to completion. You will work closely with the Site Manager and be actively involved in project programming, client coordination and day-to-day execution of works. This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced construction environment.
Job Responsibility:
Develop cost effective engineering solutions for the project and review project/contract documentation and raise technical queries as required
Provide engineering/technical advice to on-site Supervisors and other project staff involved in the works
Assist with planning and scheduling of works for the project and organise project resources and equipment
Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures, client specifications and ISO requirements
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (civil)
Extensive experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects
High attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the work
Be delivery focused with a high level of self-motivation and drive to support the delivery of the project to schedule
Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
