We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Engineer with expertise in the Rockwell Automation platform to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining industrial automation systems, with a strong focus on Rockwell’s suite of products including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
Job Responsibility:
Design, program, and troubleshoot Rockwell Automation systems including Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix), PanelView HMIs, and FactoryTalk Studio SE/ME software
Develop and implement control system architectures and detailed design specifications
Perform system integration and testing to ensure reliable and efficient operation of automation systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical and electrical engineers, project managers, and external clients to deliver projects on time and within budget
Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams on Rockwell Automation products and solutions
Conduct site assessments, field service, and commissioning activities
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Maintain thorough documentation of systems, configurations, and project progress
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/E&TC/Instrumentation/I&C/Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation with a focus on Rockwell Automation products
Proficiency in programming Allen-Bradley PLCs, particularly ControlLogix and CompactLogix series
Strong knowledge of FactoryTalk View ME/SE, Studio 5000, and other Rockwell software tools
Experience with network configurations and industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel to client sites as required
Nice to have:
Knowledge on FT Batch, FT Historian and CCW software will be added advantage
Familiarity with standards and regulations in industrial automation (e.g., S-88, GAMP, 21CFR11, Functional Safety, etc. would be added advantage
