Job Description – Project Engineer Location: Gujarat Department: Projects / Execution Reporting To: Project Manager / Head – Projects Key Responsibilities • Assist Project Manager in preparing project schedules, resource allocation, and execution plans. • Liaise with design engineers, procurement, and site teams for timely mobilization of resources. • Ensure alignment with project specifications, drawings, and client requirements. • Supervise erection, welding, and testing of HDPE/PPH/PVDF piping at site. • Monitor daily progress, highlight bottlenecks, and support mitigation actions. • Ensure adherence to QA/QC protocols, safety standards, and ISO norms. • Review engineering drawings, prepare work packages, and maintain site documentation. • Support in hydrotesting, NDT, and commissioning activities. • Compile progress reports, DPRs (Daily Progress Reports), and handover documents. • Coordinate with EPC partners, contractors, and clients for smooth execution. • Provide technical clarifications and resolve site-level engineering challenges. • Identify opportunities to optimize costs, improve material usage, and enhance efficiency. ... • Capture site learnings for improving Sangir’s project execution frameworks. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Timely execution of assigned project milestones. • Adherence to quality standards and reduction in rework. • On-time submission of DPRs and project documentation. • Compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols at site. • Effective coordination with cross-functional teams and contractors. • Contribution to cost control and material optimization. Education & Qualifications • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. • 2–6 years of experience in project execution (preferably EPC/industrial piping/ETP projects). • Knowledge of thermoplastic piping systems, welding (butt fusion, electrofusion), and QA/QC preferred. • Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera and AutoCAD desirable.
