Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Resources team supporting our long-term Civil and Earthworks Services Contract at Barrow Island on a 2:2 roster. As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of construction activities, providing technical input, and supporting the wider team in achieving overall project success.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead assigned scopes of work, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
  • Provide and seek technical advice across design, construction, and program modifications
  • Maintain strong project performance, even in challenging conditions, and take ownership of issues in your scope
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage resources across work areas and teams to achieve successful outcomes
  • Apply sound commercial judgement to decisions, contributing to project profitability
  • Build positive relationships by understanding client needs and delivering quality outcomes that meet schedule, budget, and compliance requirements
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with project HSEQ requirements
  • Select and engage capable suppliers and subcontractors based on quality, safety, and value for money
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and resource efficiency to deliver successful outcomes

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Civil Engineering or similar
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in relevant industry
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
  • White Card - CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
  • Valid Manual Driver’s License

Nice to have:

  • Highly regarded experience – working on civil packages preferably within an Oil and Gas worksite or Minesite environment
  • Highly regarded disciplines include – concrete / structures, utilities, building construction & renovations, roads, earthworks, drainage, E&I works and mine site infrastructure
