We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Engineer to support the delivery of manufacturing and fabrication projects. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, meet regulatory requirements, and align with client expectations.
Job Responsibility
Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) in line with project and Australian Standards
Compile Manufacturing Data Reports (MDRs), including certifications and compliance documentation
Manage document control, revisions, and project traceability
Develop and track project schedules, monitoring progress and reporting variances
Coordinate procurement, fabrication, inspection, and delivery milestones
Support risk management, change control, and cost tracking activities
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline is required
2–3 years' experience in manufacturing, fabrication, mining, or similar industries
Exposure to Australian Standards (e.g. AS/NZS 1554, AS 3992, AS 1210) advantageous
Experience with project scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project) preferred
Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills
