Project Engineer

• Lead and coordinate upstream manufacturing projects related to fermentation and biologics production
• Manage project timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communication across manufacturing, engineering, MSAT and quality teams
• Support process improvement initiatives and manufacturing optimization within upstream operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of fermentation campaigns and production activities
• Provide technical expertise on upstream processes including fermentation, bioreactors and cell culture systems
• Ensure all activities comply with GMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing standards
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, technical reports and manufacturing records
• Support equipment readiness and operational excellence initiatives within biologics production

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering or a related Life Sciences field
• 5–8 years of experience in biologics or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Hands-on experience in upstream processing, fermentation or bioreactor operations
• Experience coordinating or leading technical or manufacturing projects within a GMP environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of biologics manufacturing processes and upstream technologies
• Familiarity with GMP documentation and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements

Experience in tech transfer, process scale-up or manufacturing improvement projects is considered a plus
