Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior to Intermediate Project Engineer with experience in Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF) to support the delivery of offshore subsea construction projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to technically challenging work within a stable, collaborative project team delivering work across Australia with growing opportunities globally.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the execution of SURF projects from tender through to offshore execution and close-out
  • Assist with development and review of installation methodologies and analyses, procedures, work packs, schedules, and execution planning
  • Review and manage engineering deliverables, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate interfaces between engineering disciplines, vessels, offshore teams, and subcontractors
  • Provide engineering support during offshore installation campaigns as required
  • Assist with mobilisation/demobilisation planning and offshore readiness
  • Participate in HAZIDs, risk assessments, and constructability reviews
  • Support subsea installation activities related to umbilicals, risers, flowlines (SURF), and associated structures
  • Assist with project cost tracking, progress reporting, and forecasting
  • Support change management and variation assessments
  • Contribute to internal and client reporting
  • Work closely with project leadership
  • Promote and actively contribute to a strong safety and quality culture
  • Ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements
  • Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experience in Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF)
  • Full working rights in Australia (Australian citizen or Permanent Resident)
