Project Engineer, Senior

• Planning and maintaining project budget and schedule
• Planning and maintaining Manpower forecasts in relation to budget and schedule
• Planning and monitoring cash flow against cash expenses
• Establishing labor and productivity rates
• Identifying value added solutions and cost saving methods
• Pricing, tracking and managing change orders
• Identifying change orders and ensuring effective resolution
• Maintaining as-builts as work is completed
• Documenting project issues/conditions
• Maintaining organized and detailed project records
• Submitting hours and cost codes
• Planning and executing project completion and punch list
• Preparing specifications for purchase of materials and equipment
• Preparing invoices
• Submitting O&M manuals
• Completing a comprehensive estimate
• Running a KPR (Key Project Review)
• Developing a Safety Plan
• Running day-to-day operations of a project or sub-section of a project
• Managing design development logs and criteria compliance matrix
• Managing coordination & detailing logs & schedule
• Managing schedule updates
• Managing productivity reports
• Identifying value added solutions & cost savings methods
• Being a major participant in Project Kick Off Meeting (PKOM) process
• Assisting in Field Inspections / productivity tracking
• Gaining knowledge and assisting with the Materials Requisition System

• 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably from an ABET accredited program)
• 3+ years of experience with a Masters in Engineering
• Professional Engineer License, preferred
• Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction
• Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard
• Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
• Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
• Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
• Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
• Identify and understand the speech of another person
