Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer (Piling) to join our team at Groundex to support our long-term geotechnical projects across Western Australia.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead assigned scopes of work, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
  • Provide and seek technical advice across design, construction, and program modifications
  • Maintain strong project performance, even in challenging conditions, and take ownership of issues in your scope
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage resources across work areas and teams to achieve successful outcomes
  • Apply sound commercial judgement to decisions, contributing to project profitability
  • Build positive relationships by understanding client needs and delivering quality outcomes that meet contract, budget, and compliance requirements
  • Ensure all site activities comply with HSEQ standards, demonstrating strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental performance
  • Select and engage capable suppliers and subcontractors based on quality, safety, and value for money
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and resource efficiency to deliver successful outcomes

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Civil Engineering or similar
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in relevant industry
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
  • White Card - CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
  • Valid Driver’s License
