Job Description

The Project Engineer Intern is responsible for supporting the project management and project engineering teams while collaborating with colleagues to complete a project throughout the internship.

Job Responsibility

  • Completing jobsite documentation (RFIs, change orders, ASIs, supplemental design documentation, QA/QC, submittals, etc.)
  • Managing jobsite logistics, including office supplies and badging/orientation paperwork
  • Coordinating deliveries of equipment and materials
  • Assisting with assembling estimates and budgets
  • Supporting subcontractor and vendor management
  • Attending project meetings and preparing meeting notes as needed
  • Writing and tracking purchase orders and subcontracts
  • Assisting with craft productivity tracking

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and apply technical concepts quickly
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Project)
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
