Job Description

As Project Engineer E&I&A (Electrical, Instrumentation and Analysers) you are responsible for writing project documentation and generating project drawings based on client specifications. After selecting the required project equipment, the engineer will make sure the purchased materials are delivered on time. After approval of the drawings the engineer will coordinate the panel and shelter construction internally in the company and with the suppliers. During Integration Testing and Factory Acceptance Testing of the panels and shelters the engineer will assist where necessary.

  • Selecting the required project equipment and making sure the purchased materials are delivered on time
  • Coordinating the panel and shelter construction internally in the company and with the suppliers after approval of the drawings
  • Assisting during Integration Testing and Factory Acceptance Testing of the panels and shelters

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical & instrumentation drawings and control narratives
  • Skills to develop specifications, datasheets and installation designs for the various types of Instruments and analysers
  • Capable of translating requirements from specifications to cooperate with other engineering disciplines and instruction suppliers, in order to identify optimized solutions from a technical and economical point of view
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Adequate verbal, written and social skills to process the technical information and maintain a proper level of communication with clients, suppliers and colleagues in different cultures (Dutch and English language)
  • Strong technical and analytical proficiency with the ability to multi-task effectively and thrive in a team environment
  • A degree in Master or Bachelor of Industrial Sciences or equivalent through experience
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience with relevant project experience, ideally in electrical and instrumentation and/or analysers in gas & oil metering projects
