Job Description

Seeking a contract hire to work with one of our clients as a Project Engineer to assist with industrial construction projects in the greater DMV area.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate daily with the Operations Manager to support ongoing and upcoming field projects
  • Assist with project buy-out for supplied materials, ensuring adherence to client specifications and industry standards
  • Expedite material deliveries from subcontractors and suppliers to align with project schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of submittals, approvals, and manage the Request for Information (RFI) process
  • Assist in budgeting, estimating, and conducting pre-construction and progress meetings with clients and subcontractors

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 2-4 years of experience in construction, preferably within an industrial or mechanical contracting environment
  • Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and the RFI process
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated organizational abilities
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
