We are currently recruiting for a Completions Project Engineer to join a desalination construction project working a 2:1 roster and playing a pivotal role in bringing a critial project to completion. You’ll be at the forefront of managing close-out schedules, compiling critical handover documentation, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met—all while delivering a defect-free, on-budget project that meets contractual requirements. Working closely with expert teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth client handover, you will have a strong focus on risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the completion and close-out schedule, ensuring all works are completed within contractual timeframes.
Compile and manage handover documentation progressively, ensuring timely completion within contractual requirements.
Ensure all works are defect-free and meet the required quality standards.
Facilitate the successful handover of the completed project to the client.
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient completion of the project.
Identify and mitigate potential risks related to project completion.
Monitor and manage project completion costs, ensuring adherence to the budget.
Contribute to project reviews and lessons learned to identify areas for improvement in future projects.
Requirements:
Proven experience in completions management, within the mineral processing construction projects: gold project experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of construction processes, quality control procedures, and handover documentation.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
