We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure team supporting our Infrastructure scopes on the Onslow Streetscape Project. As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering project engineering activities to ensure technical compliance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of project milestones, while supporting the project team and engaging with key stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Lead assigned scopes of work, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
Provide and seek technical advice across design, construction, and program modifications
Maintain strong project performance, even in challenging conditions, and take ownership of issues in your scope
Plan, coordinate, and manage resources across work areas and teams to achieve successful outcomes
Apply sound commercial judgement to decisions, contributing to project profitability
Build positive relationships by understanding client needs and delivering quality outcomes that meet contract, budget, and compliance requirements
Ensure all site activities comply with HSEQ standards, demonstrating strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental performance
Select and engage capable suppliers and subcontractors based on quality, safety, and value for money
Oversee subcontractor performance and resource efficiency to deliver successful outcomes
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience within Civil Engineering, ideally on lump sum brownfield construction projects
Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering (essential)
Experience working on Streetscape, Drainage and Landscaping projects (highly desirable)
MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights
