Job Description:

As a Busbar Engineer, you'll design rail channel systems that manage critical energy distribution in data centers. Occasionally, you'll also contribute to industrial projects. When complex challenges arise, we're ready to tackle them together. Given the tight timelines and high expectations from our clients, your role will be both dynamic and varied.

Job Responsibility:

  • Electrical engineering of system designs
  • Developing technical designs in a 3D environment (Revit)
  • Problem-solving issues related to layout, component selection, fire safety, mechanical interfacing, electrical auxiliary systems, and cabling
  • Collaborating with colleagues on the design of low-voltage distributors, medium-voltage systems, or E-houses
  • Reviewing technical basic and detailed designs
  • Maintaining proactive client communication, considering commercial implications
  • Organizing and attending factory acceptance tests (FAT) with clients
  • Preparing comprehensive documentation
  • Providing office support during assembly and commissioning phases
  • Managing punch lists and ensuring seamless project completion
  • Developing and proposing continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • HBO degree in Electrical Engineering with good knowledge about mechanical aspect or the other way around
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering, 3D modelling and preferable 2D modelling as well (preferably in an international project environment)
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and broad technical curiosity
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Flexibility, practicality, and a results-driven approach
  • Strong communication skills and professional engagement
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to work on-site at client and production facilities, both domestically and internationally, for short-term assignment
